As some will be commencing their travels tomorrow, I'll take this opportunity to bid them farewell, good fortune and sincerly wish I was there.
I did go to the Blackpool event and wholeheartdly support the workers, but couldn't go to the Red Lion, it was such an emotional day for me, as both my wife and I have experienced the the scenarios of all concerned with the current situation.
I have been in both situations, as an employee & and employer, the worst moment in my life was watching my 65 employees being told told to leave the premises, because we couldn't trade anymore, as we were in a situation of possibly trading insolvent.
Whilst we always traded in profit we couldn't get the cash in quickly enough. Prior to that I have been made redundant @ 4 times, although not a happy experience, I was fortunate that when I was made redundant, it was probably around 2-5 of us at any particular time, therefore easy enough to seek employment around the area.
Trying to find employment for a few hundred people with specialised trades, in an area where these skills will not be required, is unthinkable.
Mrs ntel was the preverbial donkey with her tireless work on that November day, and I will contribute to the fund after this current event, when it's clearer how we can help the employees at this time.

Best regards to all,

James Sim.
