I drove past a very large, brand new articulated lorry on the M40 today.

It was purple and had the TVR logo emablazoned on the back.

It looked a bit like the big formula one team's transporter lorries (that they put the cars etc in)

Anybody know what it was carrying?

It probably contains the hopes and aspirations of the workforce.

My very, very best wishes to the workforce after yesterday's announcement by the absolutely pathetic management team (we all know who in particular). Guys and gals, we are all thinking of you at this difficult time because we care genuinely about you. TVR's behaviour towards you stinks and may they rot in hell for their unacceptable behaviour towards the special people who built our special cars. IMHO, of course.

We saw 2 of these at the factory at Back Home in the summer. I think thay have just replaced their old open transporters in order to keep the cars clean when moving them around.

What the hell is secret about that..?! It's painted in the TVR colour and has the logo on it… if that's secret, MI5 aren't exactly going to be worried about their jobs, are they..?

No, no, it's the TVR's inside that are secret not the frigging transporter

Well according to pretty much every thread in the TVR sections of PH (and god knows how many "insiders" who know everything) nothing has been built for ages...

Well the fairies are probably busy beavering away on the March 2007 Geneva motor show models somewhere - probably off-site or maybe there's a full production unit inside the transporter and they are driving around picking up parts from various motor factors as they go. Has anyone seen it parked up outside the Vauxhall parts dept?

It's the new TVR F1 team on its way to testing - new teams are allowed more than the 30,000 km permitted for the others.

Didn't you know about the new TVR F1 team?

What did the release say, Julian? I went to the site yesterday and couldn't see once since 18th October.

Having spoken to one of the 'fairies' yesterday, they're busy working hard as we speak, and, as far as I know, in the same place as usual.

I imagine factory tours have been halted in the light of production being halted and the company not wanting anything getting out into the public that they can't control.

Watching porn in a TVR bodyshop probably just means standing back admiring your handywork!

I think those were the flashy transporters that were bought by Peter W for Tuscan racing and taking stuff to motor shows.
