Just had a thought to rally up more exposure for london thunder, has anyone contacted the weekly or month car magazines/journals ?
As we've got a couple of weeks left to the event, maybe the weekly journals would be interested in running a story leading up to London Thunder ?
Then when we break the record for the largest gathering of one marque manufactor, they would have their follow up story.
List of magazine of the top of my head.
Classic and Sportcar
Auto express
Autocar
EVO
Top Gear Magazine
Just a thought idea

I have some contacts at Classic and Sports Car on the strength that they included my car (amongst others) in a photo shoot just recently. I will make some calls tomorrow and post result

Good call guys,
I am hoping to have a draft press release by the weekend, that we can send out to all publications, Radio, and TV.

Keep up the good work and ideas!

Just a thought a rather closer to home... has anyone thought to see if we would be featured in sprint next month?

As I seem to be the one that got the credit on the main page (though IMHO I don't deserve it). I'll give them a ring.

Righty. I've just had a conversation with Derek, head editor @ Sprint. He would be delighted to have a write up after the event, which means it will not appear until January's edition. However, I don't see any harm in it being in there and will be nice to catch us all in photo and print... something to remember the day by.

BTW I'll be responsible for the pictures so if you want to appear, lurk near me while I've got the camera out

I'm loving it my friend. All the exposure we can get is great.

Derek will be attending the event as well, so we can all have a chat with him while he is there.

Well done David, Ben, Kirsty, Nicky and all others making the effort here. I wish there was something I could do personally but I just don't have the contacts or the experience in this field - bit of a newby tbh.....

Good work all!
