Liquid Leather Cleaner & Conditioner
Discussion
Let me start by saying that I have no connection whatsoever with the company (Gliptone) that supply the above products. However, I have been using their leather cleaner and conditioner (marketed as Liquid Leather) now for 2 years and they are by far the best products I have used. The leather conditioner in particular is excellent and really softens the leather and puts back that original leather smell.
Recently, I wanted to re-colour the leather in a few areas where it was either scratched or scuffed - phoned Gliptone and they do a product called Scuffmaster, which is a leather dye. You send them a sample of the leather to be re-coloured (I sent a seat swab and the gear gaitor) by recorded delivery and they produce a colour matched leather dye. I sent my samples off on a Monday and got them back with the dye on the Friday of the same week.
I first came across them in Classic & Sportscar where they came out on top of all the leather care products they had tested. I think they still advertise in C&S, but if not their website is:
liquidleather.com
