Towards Virginia Water at a guess nerd

Southbound side, between J5 (M25/A21/M26 interchange) and J6 of the M25.

Be good to meet you again Chris, I think the last time was at the previous VW meet.

You know me and my sense of direction!! How do I get there from the North Side?

IIRC last time it was: "Don't worry Chris we'll call you when we leave Clacketts. Then we'll catch you up."

On the phone: "We're passing J6 now!!"

I did 90-100 to catch you up, seems someone else was going faster....

Cool Rob, I'll have a chat with my brother who may be coming along, he'll be in his car so I may have to hang back, all depends on if he finishes rebuilding his engine this week and gets it tuned up.

Catching up with a moving convoy is always a nightmare, sense of direction of not it takes a heavy right foot and either clear traffic or the ability to bully other cars out of your way.

To get to Clackett south (legally) head on east around the M25 to J5, don't turn off left (to get back on the M25) and continue towards Hastings, take the Sevenoaks exit from the A21, going onto the A25 then turn right towards Westerham, then just over the bridge a right again will get you back onto the A21. From there take the left exit towards Gatwick/Heathrow and after a few miles you'll be at Clackett South with the rest of us - job done!

Any corrections welcome

sorry Chris that would be down to me (the phone call)
you could always go along the A232 through West Wickham and out onto the A21 down to junction 4(or is it 5) then turn right at the M25 towards Gatwick and you'll be at the right side for Clackett Lane services.
Glyn.

No probs mate. Are you coming along? If you are I could meet you in Purley Way or such like as I live in East Croydon now.

Am not 100% sure mate, as i'm on call this week coming so we are intending to go, but, if the phone rings i'll have to miss it and if the phone rings whilst i'm on my way i'll have to turn round etc so will be fingers crossed.
Just as an off chance are you going to have a spare seat incase i do get called out as Tracie would like to go (and she doesn't drive) so if possible would like a lift there and back (or you could just leave her there for me laugh)
Glyn.

Bump.

Have told the locals to get there for 10am, ready for a 10:15 departure.
