When do you think the production rate of these cars will pick up so interested buyers can see them on some forecourts ?!

The TVR Centre in Barnet will be getting the first car which should be quite soon. Interesting to see confirmed in Autocar today that the engine is a 3.6 litre version of the Tuscan engine complete with dry sump and few of the mods originally talked about.

I've just read it, and it says that, apart from the reduction in capacity, the engine is identical to the Tuscan's. I suspect TVR have finally realised that a lower risk approach to lauching a new car is the way to go. Another thing that stands out in the article is the journo is banging on about this being the best build quality TVR yet. Given the well documented (on this site and else where) quality gripes a lot of owners are having, more cynical gassers than myself might suspect the article had almost be written by TVR

I have to say that having seen, and been in two pre-production models, the build quality and general feel is way above my '99 Chimaera, and I would agree with the journo's on this one.
