My pre cat Griff will always be "British", its what follows that will be European, with diluted features and noise levels to bring it in line with the other Eurotrash.

Your now a European sportscar owners who's vehicle is worth substancially less than it was this time yesterday.

Tis a great shame, but glad I got rid not long back.

As for the new models at the motorshow, does anyone actually believe anything they hear with regards to TVR anymore ?

Wish you were true.

TVR are killing themselves just by the way they seem to be operating.

Don't think moving abroad is necessarily a bad thing. I may be exactly what the company needs. However, the way its been gone about (or seen to have gone about) is a complete disaster.

tell them to bring TVR down to loungbridge. rover not building any cars there now. so build them in the factory, it’s just sitting around doing nothing. Then again
in the UK we don’t build any thing any more. I hate this country. we gone to the dogs. i some time think what it would be like if the out come, was diff in the world war. Would this be a better country now? Oh hold on we got big football clubs. wow the only thing i can think off when some one talks about what is the UK good for. Any way hope you all fine work ex tvr workers. and before xmas. And thank you for all the hard work you done. I got 2 tvr and they the best car in the world. Nothing on the market like them. Unless you want a hair dresser car. Any way lets see the media haver a field day on this, nothing like bad news. well at least the medai can get there teath in 2 it. oh yes UK we love bad news and stars.

I'm a bit nervous at the moment. I want to keep my Tamora for a very very long time, and have a reasonably large loan on it. If the value of the car drops by alot and I need to sell it if my circumstances change, then I could be in deep deep shityikes.

Think what you want. I'm just saying what loads of others think.

You think people are going to buy such things as £45k Sagaris's at the moment in the middle of this 'crisis'. Prices will obviously drop short term until its clear what TVR's true intentions are.

You think people are going to believe the hype about 3 new models being at Geneva ?

Have you heard the European Ferraris and Lambos, or American Astons? They sound mighty fine despite following worldwide legislation for noise and the like.

So I'd hardly say TVR are likely to suffer on the noise front, as despite two of the above being owned by two major manufacturers they still make a racket.

hmmm.....a bit trolly.... I didn't buy my TVR as an investment. I should think if TVR does close the 2nd hand prices will then go up as there is then a finite supply of them and you'll wish you'd kept yer t350....

Had a quick look and your car is about four years old already so its taken its major hit. Unless there is some major parts supply issue I think everything will be fine. Can't imagine that happening as there are still plenty cars on the road to maintain. Todays events are only concerning cars that will be built in the future...

How do you own a European sports car? Was yours not made in Britain? Mine was.

Except of couse that Britain is part of Europe politically, economically and geographically

Having said all that, I'm not going to buy another one if it's not made here. Thus my only option is to buy 2nd hand or go to Marcos.
