Need a drop link for the Chim and have found today that no-one I rang ( ie nearly everyone I could think of ) has any, factory have none ( they have been on back order for ages apparently). My Steve Heath one has snapped at the front and I am trying to contact him for a replacement but it seems that Plan B is now a no-go......dontcha just love that TVR spares situation....

You can buy very nice looking front drop links from demon tweeks for similar price to SH from memory.

What has snapped? If it's just a rod-end bearing then they are easily sourced. (Incidentally, my drop links are just a pair of male and female threaded rod ends screwed into each other with a lock nut. All bog standard parts and not expensive. They've been on for about eight years and over a hundred thousand miles and still as good as new.)

Tower view don't have any either....although buying a new rose joint is an option as I think that is what has snapped....it's up at Automedon you see so I don't have sight of the part....will chat to them about it today hopefully...

Do you know where I could get a rose joint ?

There are suppliers all over the place, your guys should have no trouble finding a match if they have the broken one in their hand. I'd suggest going for a PTFE lined one if possible. If they need names, look for National Rod Ends or Aurora, or just tell them to pick up the phone to any motorsport supplier. If they can't figure that out for themselves, you might want to think again about whether they are the right people for a job like this.

That's impressive. My first set wore out in about 5000 miles!! It seems there are rose joints and rose joints. I have the SHeath ones on now which I'm hoping will last a lot longer.
