Hi, i have a question, currently own a 911C4 (996). before that i had a chim 4.0 for 5 yrs during which time i had nitron susp and track wheels tyres and decat pipes added. So the porker is a little tame and it is starting to show with my lack of interst in it.
SAGARIS..... Is the car i am considering, however i have heard a few things about the body coming away, and am not aware of when they made changes to stop this happening, also what else should i be looking for as a potential pit fall.
Thanks in advance
Sam

What ? Like in a snake shedding it's skin type of coming away ?
Perhaps the person / expert who passed that information on to you, could enlighten you furhter about the car's various problems.
1000 volt electric shock off the steering wheel etc
I think someone's been pulling your pisser.
I believe there was a problem with the first few Saggies,at the back home visit in July there were several painted body shells at the back of the factory. We were told these were from cars that had to be re bodied due to exessive flexing.Apparently PW tried omitting one of the molding stages in an attempt to make the car cheaper to build and lighter.
I believe he could be referring to the early hinged bonnet vent which did fly off at speed on a number (countable on one hand) of cars. I very much doubt any of the early cars with this potential design fault have not had a fix.
I believe ph'r YP (Yellow Peril) could be able to advise better on this.

Sam, as per many other questions of similar order - go and drive one, but apologise to your cheque book before you go!!!
There is a lot of good history for many Sagaris owners, a lot of relatively high mileage daily drivers and good daily/track car owners as well.
Check out your nearest dealer and get in one: as above, once driven......
