I'm looking at buying a '99 Cerbera S6. I'm based in Nottingham and was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere not a million miles away, where I can get it serviced.

Joospeed / Trackcar used to service in that area, not sure he services anymore. He used to refuse S6 work as well but I think he has come round now.

If your in the Midlands, just go to TVR Power. End of story.

Plus Dom runs great driving trips / holidays for his customers.

Cheers

Cheers guys much appreciated. Will definately be calling (in) and having a look at those, plus there is a garage literally a mile away from me which does Fez's, Maser's, Porker's and TVR's I found on the Speed 6 forum. Apparently the guy there has come up with a novel rebuild alternative for the S6 which is supposed to be holding up well so far.

Prestige Performance gets my vote - quality service from a helpful and knowlegeable team, free loan car and and reasonable pricing.

AMB Performance Cars www.porschegarage.co.uk They are on Mapperley Top.

I can't give them a thumbs up yet, as I haven't bought the Tiv or spoken to them yet but this thread makes interesting reading:

Are there any regular TVR meets in Nottingham then?

Nipped down to Prestige Performance to have a chat today: To see if they'd have a look at a Cerbera I was thinking of buying (looks like I've been beaten to it but hey ho more tvrs in the Irish sea). Ended up spending best part of half an hour under a Cerb having potential problems pointed out and can take a car down for a once over and honest opinon.

They seem like top blokes and will definately be getting my business when the time comes...

Not spoken to to AMB but PPC really impressed me yesterday with their enthusiasm and helpfulness. They were also a part of TMS before it closed down and have a lot of experience working with TVRs, so on that basis I'll be going with them. It's very rare I won't check all the available options so they've really done a good job.

However it is very very handy to know that in an emergency AMB are less than a mile down the road!
