Travis Perkins Driver of the Year Event
Bruntingthorpe Sunday 3rd September 2006

Along side the above event which will use the main circuit, we are hosting a charity day in support of Macmillan Cancer Relief. Links to Bruntingthorpe/location map etc here: www.bruntingthorpe.com/about.htm

The track day will be using the smaller Indie circuit which is separate to the main track. The cost for the day will be £65.00 per car and one driver. Additional drivers will be £30 and passengers £10. Helmets will be mandatory and can be hired on the day (£10 for the day). Tuition will be available for an additional charge.

The event will be open to all comers and split into sessions by ability. If possible we will have open pits. Although there is a noise restriction at Bruntingthorpe, we have never experienced any problems in the past.

The price includes refreshments throughout the day (bacon rolls at 08:30, lunch and mid afternoon refreshments). You will be free to take part in other events available on the day (4x4 off roading, Subaru simulator car, driving an articulated truck around the main circuit, etc.)

No children under 18 will be allowed on to the Indie circuit. Dream rides will be sold on the day (if you wish……..not compulsory) but we are waiting to confirm the cars that wish to take part in this. As always with an event like this, it is usually wait to see who turns up on the day. Gates will open at 08:30 with a driver briefings between 09:30 and the track open from 10:00.

Marshalls and Clerk of the Course will be provided by Big Thunder.

Payment should be made by cheque payable to the Travis Perkins Staff Charity Fund and sent to me at the following address:

Amanda Fitzpatrick
Wincanton for Mattel
Nasmyth Road
Daventry
NN11 8NF
