Ace Cafe new TVR meet day

[Blipi]

I received an email from Ace Cafe suggesting moving the usual Friday meet to the 3rd Wednesday of every month to share with Lotus.

This change will happen from 2007 unless things change again!

Not sure if this has been made public or not yet but thought I would share what I had found out.

Brilliant news! got to be better than battling it through the Friday rush-hour on the North Circular.

Might be moving sooner than next year

We are already in discussion with the Ace Cafe as they have asked us to agree to move our meet to the third Wednesday of each month, and share with the Lotus club.

This is currently being discussed amongst members on our regional eGroup. So far most are in favour - or at least not opposed to this move.

We have been given a date of Wednesday January 17th for the first of these new meets, but this is still open to debate. We are ready to move earlier, but others may not be and the Ace would like to coordinate all the moves in one go.

For now, the Ace meet remains the first Friday - which is THIS FRIDAY.

When everything is confirmed we will be letting everyone know.

Ooooo so the battle will begin. Elan or Chimaera... Elan or Chimaera... The Elan will be more unique so she will probably get my vote most of the time! I'll be able to show off her custom hard top in January too!

Which date is the ACE TVR meet now? The Wednesday or the Friday?
