All TVR owners, for your info. I have been having a nightmare with my Cerbie lately and if it wasn’t for Dave and Colin at Automedon in Poulton I think I would of gone insane by now. I could not recommend their garage highly enough!
Having had a Griffith I decided to move onto a Cerbie!! After picking the car up with a big grin TVR reliability struck. My slave cylinder bust (after 1 hour of ownership!!)...one phone call later to Dave at Automedon (who I had never spoken to before, but had been recommended) and my car was away on a low loader to be fixed courtesy of the AA and a number of passers pushing my car out of the multi-storey!!
The guys at Automedon are ex-TVR factory engineers/QA bods and on returning my car found a number of other faults and niggles which they knew exactly how to rectify and fixed very quickly. Any problems I have had and the guys could not of been more helpful at sorting them for me(Coil pack causing the car to sound like an assault rifle, windows not closing, doors locking me in etc etc). They know their TVRs inside out and have been able to source a number of parts for me to put my car right. Its like having your car rebuilt by TVR (but properly this time and not at TVR prices) and having a QA man run over with a fine tooth comb.
On the return of my car they polished, cleaned and gave it the once over afterwards. It felt like a different car, and almost good as new!!
After dealing with a number of TVR dealers/servicing&parts depts lately I was astonished at their poor service and customer care. The guys at Automedom however provide the best aftersales/customer care I have ever come across! I was going to get rid of the Cerbie but now in knowing the guys at Automedon have decided to keep it as I know I will always be able to get it sorted properly!
I know my Cerbie is running perfect now after being in their hands for a few days. They have even corrected some dodgy workmanship that has cost a fortune to be carried out in the past! They went round the car pointing out incorrect loom routings, pipe routings, clip types, electrical faults etc.
Seriously though I could not recommend them highly enough. If you have a TVR they have a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and after care well worth taking advantage of! Highly recommended and excellent value!! Thanks guys!!

I visited them last week. They are top blokes
and their knowledge of TVRs is amazing. Customer service is outstanding and they are so helpful, you really have to go and experience it for yourself. I wish them all the very best with their business, but the word is spreading quickly. They had about x15 TVRs
in when I visited. Can I fifth or sixth what has been written so far?
These guys are absolutely brilliant. if you're in the area, be sure to check them out, you will not be disappointed. Get on their "books" quick, mind, because I'm sure they're going to become one of THE Independants to look after your car.
