TVR parade @ GP Masters Silverstone y'day

anyone here take GP drivers round Silverstone y'day before Masters? TVRs looked gr8

I did,i took eddie cheever ( the winner) around the track, he has never heard of tvr and thought they are made in italy, the weather put a big damper on what could have been a great day. Gordon.

Hi, I was there and took at least 1 photograph of each of the cars, both as they came into the pit lane to pick up the driver, and then on their return to the pit lane with the driver, some being more extrovert than others.

Don looked happy for the first time that day once Nigel was in the car. Very stressful organising the whole thing and much appreciated by the many who turned up. Did TVR (the cars and owners) proud even if TVR (the company didn't seem to be too interested).

The driver parade looked great. The rain was pretty depressing but the weather did get a bit better and the GPM race was pretty exciting.

hi meghy i would be interested in having a picture of the car " TOVIE " with gordon and eddie cheevers as i was in the granstand and could not get a photo! we were proud to have the winning driver!!!!!

Terrific advert for TVR, shame the factory brass aren't acknowledging the effort that must have gone into this with a few goodies or at least an official thank you.

how did the TVR rides get organised ? Official support from TVR owners club ? I would like to organise something similar with Ferrari for next yrs GP.

It was such a pity tvr factory did not get involved as it might have gone a long way to sorting out some of the bad press at the moment,surely any thing good at the moment would be a bonus...................Gordon.
