Re-sticking Velcro

Hi all,
The velcro that attaches the sides of the hood to the body are coming off on my car where they are attached to the body, does anyone know what the best adhesive is to re-attach them?
Was not sure if it was a super glue job / impact adhesive job, or something completly different?

Sorry stupid question I know but what sort of silicone? You are not talking silicone sealent as that would peel off too easily, but I don't think I know of any other type.

Normal everyday clear silicone the type builders use, any hardware store should stock it B&Q ect Dow Corning is best.
I understand what you mean about pealing off but once bonded between two surfaces thats it it's stuck if anything you can rub of the access, worked for me.
Edit to say Evo stick will prob work even better but it can get a little messy and you only get one go to stick it down were as with the silicone you can move it round to get perfect position.

Use a good glue and don't forget to pop rivet the ends.
