Offord Motor Co anyone used them??

Whilst searching the net for various TVR stuff I came across Offord Motor Co in Cambridgeshire. They are offering a 12,000 mile service on a Tuscan for £499.00 inc parts, Vat and tappet adjustment. Whats the catch it seems to good to be true. Anyone used them???

I've used them for a Chim service and was very happy. Sorted out several niggles I hadn't told them about and the car has been very sweet. They are a well-respected independent, and famous for their Chim/Griff cherry-bomb exhausts! Booked in for new springs/dampers/alignment next week.

They looked after our Griff for 4 years and were fine. One word of caution though, check your bonnet, boot etc before driving off, I was caught out on 3 seperate occasions by that, they can get seriously busy and miss the odd detail.

They are the closest independent to me, know them well. They go the extra mile, especially Bill.

I've used them for Saab work when I lived in that part of the world.

Excellent customer service, they always remembered your name etc.

They were also good about showing you what was wrong and did simple tasks like bulb changes,
sensor changes and tweeks of the OBD settings gratis.

Plenty of (amusingly elderly) courtesy cars unlike every other garage I've ever used.

They might be OK with the RV8 but i would not and will not reccommend them for S6 work.

I've used them for my Chimaera since Jan last year and had no problems whatsoever. They're all very helpful especially Bill and offer good customer service.
The only time I've had a slight problem with a manifold gasket they'd replaced that failed, they got the car in and replaced it ASAP.
From my own personal point of view I can't fail them, they've been very helpful to me over the last year and offered good service.
Afraid I can't speak from experience with S6 cars, but they do often have Tuscans etc in their workshop......

I've used them on my T350c and certainly can't complain about the quality of their work. They've fixed problems that other garages have struggled with.

They also come across as genuinely helpful, both Simon and Bill, and seem prepared to go the extra mile.

I aked them to set up the injector on the wedge and do a few other job. They didn't seem to have much idea on that age of car. All they managed was to change the fuel filter. The fuel pump died a week later as they#d disturbed the earth changing the filter.

They've serviced my Chim for the last 3 years. So far as I can tell, they're OK technically, and the level of customer service is one that I've never received anywhere else; car collected and delivered FOC, amusingly leggy loan car (237,000 mile SAABs, usually) FOC, they'll collect/deliver you from St. Neots station if required and so on and so on.
