How embarasing!!!

Hi all,

Have Owned TVR's for around 5 years now and they have not let me down once until today.

Have my chim on here for sale as am looking to buy a Cerb. The nicest couple you could ever wish to meet turned up to view it after travelling two hundred miles!

Took the chap out for a test drive and car as ever went like a dream. Returned to house to pick his wife and 2 minutes into the drive broke down!!!!.

It then proceeded to pour down with rain.

The problem turned out to be minor (loose HT lead). But understandably the couple scurried of into the distance.

That's really bad luck - sort of thing we all dread happening immediately after we've made some comment like "very reliable, not like your typical TVR :nudge, nudge: ). Hard enough to get punters along at this time of the year when everyone's thinking about cash for the summer hols etc(bringing the wife too was a good sign).

Unfortunatley was not still on drive but on a long uphill dual carriageway!!!

Whats worse all the buying signs were good up until this point!!!!

well its not my fault, the Land rover lot are all at billing
so I've no-one to irritate

once again LR product fails to deliver me any joy
