Donington Thursday

Just had a slightly random email from a a guy called Mick at www.wishes4kids.org
Basically he's after a few TVR's to help out on his day at Donington this coming Thursday, you'll be taking life limited and disabled kids for a blast around the Melbourne Loop section of the circuit only, so it's basically a big oval, but then the Melbourne Hairpin is a craking drift corner, and is even used by the D1 boys for practice days, not sure if all the kids would enjoy the sideways action but I'm sure a few will love it
The day is 10-4 with drivers needing to be there from 9:30am it's split into a morning and afternoon session with lunch provided.
I've seen them doing this before when I've been on full trackdays on the rest of the circuit and the kids seem to love it. You can drive at whatever pace you and kids feel comfortable and no helmets are required.
I'm very tempted, and the date is quite poignant but it's a little last minute so I've not commited just yet but if anyones interested in more details or wants to sign up get in touch with Mick at [e-mail]

I wish more of these things were at weekends. I'd have enjoyed doing this but can't get time off work.

I'm going in the TVR with a pal who has 770 bhp/tonne Ariel Atom - that should put a smile a some faces!
