I was just wondering how long people are staying in Blackpool as there is a thread about staying Friday night.
Mrs Hood and i will be going up on the Friday morning and we are staying untill Monday so as to make a nice weekend of it, but mainly because i didn't want to go to the factory in the morning, then on the run-out and then have to drive all the way back down south.
Any others thought the same as me or am i the only sensible one here

We've just booked for the Sunday night as well, for the same reasons.

Yes - just doing the tour and getting out.. not my kinda place..
Most of the weekend will be spent at the Big Bad Wedge Fest

Might have a look on the way in, although I go to Poulton regularly anyway. It looks like they are near/next to the brake place ??

Saturday 15th July
6:00 to 9:00 Set-up time for stalls and areas on the promenade
Area closed to general public to allow setup
9:30 to 11:30 Promenade area open for Members Parking
Parking for TVR cars with passes only on area around Metropole Hotel
11:30 to 12:30 Free Time to visit stalls and displayed cars
12:00 to 13:00 Judging for Concours - Mervyn Larner trophy
Raise your bonnet and stay with your car from 12:00 if you wish to participate.
12:30 to 13:00 Charity Auction for a Speed 12 ride
Auction of a passenger ride in a demonstration drive of the Speed 12 In aid of Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, in memory of Dave Cumming. Available to TVRCC members only due to insurance restrictions.
13:30 to 14:30 and 15:00 to 16:00 Demonstration Drives – Lower Walk
Demonstration drives along the Lower Walk promenade of various Tuscan Challenge, TVRCC Sprint Challenge and special guest cars, including the Speed 12. Viewing from Middle walk.
19:30 to late Evening Function at Hilton Hotel (Ticket only)
Including Buffet, Live Band, Disco and Charity Raffle/Auction of various donated prizes.
Sunday 16th July
09:00 to 13:00 FACTORY TOURS (Ticket Only)
14:00 to 15:00 Dave Cumming Memorial Rumble
Starting at Pontins, and then driving along the promenade, through the town, and back towards the M55.
16:00 Run Out to Old Nell’s in Billsborough for late lunch
The rumble route will pass the M55 junction, participants will have the choice of immediately joining the motorway and heading off home or continuing through the countryside to end up at Old Nell’s.
Hopefully people can now organise their day!
