Ie half page article in their market place commentary, stating prices in free fall, due to the troubled sportscras makers woes

Good spin on things as it says cheaper prices have made it esaier/cheaper to get into a very good tvr. so long term think they are a good car

they do say v8s' and griffith prices seem to be staying firm...

Must have missed the freefall prices. The V8 stuff aint shifted and the Sagaris prices are fairly stable, guess it must be the minor counties stuff.

Cerb' prices seem pretty stable, so I'm not sure whats taking a hit.

Guess it could be late plate cars, as I can understand the reluctance of spending £30K+ for a car that might have no back-up.

You should be able to pick up a bona fide 6 month old Sagaris around the 40k mark. Buying a brand new TVR has never made financial sense to me.

Not 6 months old, 12 yes. £40k is bottom of the market really...still very very few cars (Ive only seen 2) at £40k or less. The 6-12 month old stuff is hovering at around low £40ks which I think is perfectly acceptable depreciation.

Not financial sense, no. But the best way to ensure your TVR is run in correctly. I'm convinced this is the reason why so many face engine rebuilds later on in life.
