accident repairs to Griffith 500

Yesterday finished work early and went out for a drive only to be run into by a young girl on the wrong side of the road ! She accepted liability and I had a witness so it`s all covered by her insurance.
Damage to the car looks cosmetic at the front except for the radiator
Luckily no one was hurt
Any recommendations for where I can get the car assessed and repaired in the Leicester area ( Market Harborough ) Usually serviced by Offords although a paintshop at Melton Mowbray resprayed the front due to stonechips.Basically should I go down the approved dealer route as her insurance company will be paying? PS. Should I get a replacement to use over the summer? Thanks for any advice

Sorry to hear about that.

You can choose a bodyshop for repairs, though I'm not sure of decent ones in your area. You should get a like-for-like replacement if you contact a Help Hire-type firm. I believe PH-er Anniesdad runs one, might be worth dropping him a line.

I can't speak highly enough for Option1 they will recover the car for you .... they are a TVR approved bodyshop.
They did a repair to the rear of my old Cerbera along with a full respary (colour change from Rosso Pearl) the finish was excellent, they kept me informed all the way through the repairs and even provided a CD with all the different stages of the repair and repaint

Austec Racing have a modern bodyshop built right next doors. I've seen their work, its amazing, so you get everything under one roof. Get the mechanics checked out while the bodywork gets done at the same place - maybe a good service can be thrown in for a package price too, insurance can bite the bullet, because god knows whats shaken in her.

They do provide a pickup and drop-off service, give Paul a call.

Snap with my accident at Loton Park hillclimb last year, I was going pretty quickly when I understeered/aquaplaned into the tyre wall and it's amazing what impacts these cars will take without much damage...

Optionone collected my car, who did a fantastic job of it - and they'll obviously get lots of practice!
