Anyone else guilty of not using their Tiv?

Smashing weather etc but with taking Tyre Smoke's Cerbera to Le Mans this year and various other projects on the go I don't reckon I've even done 500 miles this year, just don't even think of using it.

Why is this I wonder??

Is it time for a change??

I thought it was just me. Because I'm out of the country so often I've only put 2500 miles on it in the last year. I frightened myself by figuring out it probably costs me more than a quid a mile to drive it! The occasional 60 mile blat for a pint of milk is no laughing matter

I'm having the opposite problem. I've done 2900 miles since January. With the Tvr Power tip in September that will add at least 1600 more. I'm on 5000 miles limited. Do the insurance co let you up the mileage?

Some do. Same problem here -Classic Line told me to call them when I got 'close' and they'd sort something.

Buggered Diff on the CHim, not been out in her for about 18months.... stealing the ecu for the Tuscan hasnt helped either

all fully insured as well

all i need to do is get the diff out and fixed and rewire the loom to take the lucas ecu again and she'd be running again !!!!

Did just 500 miles in my last year of Griff ownership (first child born etc). Bought the cerb and insured it for 3000 mpa. Had to up the mileage 3 times in the first year Was insured with Direct Line and cost me (IIRC) about £12 per 1000 miles to increase.

Now doing about 9000 miles pa, which isnt bad for a 3rd car that I was keeping the miles off of

Hmm Ive done 10 miles in the last 18 month ... to and from the petrol station, and in and out of the garage.

Although, have done 10,000 miles on the bike this year, and 10,000 miles in the new family wagon / Le Mans Support Vehicle
