GP Masters and TVR Owners - READ THIS

Hi all,
I have arranged with the GP Masters promtors for 15 Tuscan II Convertibles to drive the GP Masters Race-Drivers around on the parade lap by their owners on Sunday 13th August.
We then go to an organised park-up area and display the cars.
Now the good bit for all TVR owners of any and all models:
YOU ARE ALL WELCOME TO JOIN US.
Come to Silverstone and park-up with us inside the circuit. I have got discounted tickets (10%) and subject to final confirmation by the factory, got them to provide a pre-race champagne reception and a post-race BBQ for TVR owners. Been promised an answer next week.
I have set up a website to show the details. Timings are not yet confirmed by the promotors but they will be posted on the site as they are released. Have a look and keep checking it:

Want to join us on the Saturday night before as we party? Get to the Premier Travel Inn at Weedon / Daventry (3 miles West of Jctn 16 - M1) for 8PM. All the drivers are staying over and convoying into the circuit on Sunday.
Come and down and boogie and have fun.

Fantastic idea.
I was going to go anyway as I think it's a brilliant series but probably on my bike. I think I might bring the Saggy now.
I'll love to see one more Mansell win at Silverstone. I reckon he's got to be the favourite. He was always devastatingly fast around Silverstone. In fact I saw him (while still in short trousers) beat Piquet in an identical williams honda turbo. The famous '87 victory where he was 20 seconds behind the leading Piquet with 20 laps to go. He passed him on the last or penultimate lap. True comic book hero stuff. Apparently the engine wouldn't have lasted another lap, as Nige had turned the boost up so high the thing was at melting point! Great stuff!
