Not true. Remember my 'bla' posting? This was this story before I checked it out.
I spoke to Jonathan at Hawthorns on Wednesday when I heard the story. He emphatically denied it.
However, I have found out since that they are planning to operate on a smaller scale than previously, hence the fact that a few people have been laid off.
If you know anything about Hawthorns and the way it is funded you will know that there are some shrewd businessmen behind it who certainly wouldn't let things go as far as 'going bust'.
Well said Ted, it should also be noted that Hawthorns are the only TVR dealer to support new talent in the Tuscan Challenge and Rod has driven in every race. As Ted said before, Hawthorns has good backing and is far more secure than other dealers. Many companies are down-sizing at the moment and this makes economic sense.
