ACT's big-bore exhaust on test Cerbie

TVR induction specialist ACT is now offering a big-bore sports exhaust for the Cerbera.

"Having recently launched our new TVR Cerbera manifolds, ACT now also offers a complete big-bore sports exhaust system. It has been developed and tested on our development Cerbera for the last three months", said ACT's Tim Lamont.

Spec: 2.25-inch stainless steel, twin system from the catalysts, with extra silencing in the tail pipe (recommended).

Performance: The test car showed an increase in torque once fitted with the new system.

Soundtrack: Deeper note, more aggressive on full chat

Prices

• Full system from cats: £495 plus fitting and VAT
• Rear section only: £325 plus fitting and VAT

Lamont said that ACT will also offer standard bore systems with the extra silencing if required.

I remember Tim's at the last SRR Cerby day with the original 2 1/4 system on. It was completely raucous, with a much deeper rumble than the normal sports pipe and decat. I know it's sufficiently loud he decided to develop the quieter system. Perhaps he's getting old!

The price is just right too! Being stainless I guess they come with a lifetime warranty? if they do - then they're an absolute freakin bargain!!!!!

Tim, I've got a great idea for a system - next time we hook up we gotta talk! Its not TVR's - but its big money!

That exhaust was making my ears bleed, what do you mean "getting old" my hearing was ****ed by too many clash gigs in the late 70s
