Just chilling out watching this on Saturday and they announced the attendance number and who should appear on the left side of the screen but Steve Reid (aka gamekeeper).
Good to see you Steve and hope you enjoyed the football.

I'm sure he didn't - it was more a celeb kick-about than a football match - wasn't Theakson absolute bollox as a goalie?

Well spotted. Just glad it wasn't Crimewatch. Dont usually sit 2 rows from the pitch. Its a good job I wasn't doing something I shouldn't or supposed to be somewhere else. Not the greatest game of football ever but I am sure that wasn't the point. It was a great event, fantastic atmosphere, and a worthy cause. As to individual performances who cares. It raised a lot of money, everyone there enjoyed it and I am sure those watching on TV saw a better program than "strictly come breakdancing " or whatever was on the other side.
