...have the pleasure of replacing mine this weekend...''97 Chimp. Anyone know details of the Girling part. no and stockists for a suitable repair kit in order that I can re-claim the old one ready for re-use (I gather these things fail just for fun!) V8??...just four TL1000s zip-tied together, innit!?

You're not having much luck are you? Did you know about your cars faults before you bought, or have you been stung?

Hehe...knew exactly, and these little issues were reflected in the price. Car was on the forecourt of a local franchised Merc dealer, having been chopped in against an SLK by the 80 year old (!) former owner after it took him 20 minutes to get out one cold day! Took the thing away for a song as they were worried about it hanging around past the end of the season and being plagued with warranty claims from picky "Merc" clients. Touch-wood, this should be the last little job for a while...yeah, right! V8??...just four TL1000s zip-tied together, innit!?

Well, job done. Tip for anyone else contemplating this, supergluing the "bottom" bolt into the mounting plate of the master cylinder saves mucho aggro. Anyone remembered that seal kit number? V8??...just four TL1000s zip-tied together, innit!?
