I've been using them for service since 1990 - They're the best and Adrian Windridge is a 100% fully paid up genius!

I didn`t think that they are an official TVR dealer anymore? so you couldn`t say you had a full TVRSH or could you.

FTVRSH? Depending on the age/type of your car that isn't so important. For the Rover engined cars anyone buying who's done any decent research shouldn't fault a car for having history from a well known specialist. For newer cars, or cars with TVR's own engines its more important. I know of one case where an AJP V8 went pop after something like 3 years. Because the car had a full main dealer service history TVR replaced it even though it was out of warranty.

Could be wrong here, but having spoken to Adrian recently regarding their current position with TVR, I believe that they are still an authorised service centre and can do some (if not all) warranty work. They are no longer a TVR dealer and so cannot sell new cars but I think that everything else is still on track (other than a new owner). He seemed quite happy with the situation, said they were very busy and gave the impression that things were going from strength to strength now that the sales 'problems' had been removed. I'm going to be using them again, had to switch during their bad patch, and I have a 10 month old Tuscan RR.

I agree, Adrian will do all he can to help...I bought my Griff from them and still get my warranty work done there, my only gripe is the diddy little courtesy cars which are bloody awful on the motorway

I like those 'diddy little courtesy cars'! Team Proactive service is excellent, particularly now that the service team are able to focus on what they're good at, rather than sorting sales cars etc... Marcus & Ocean Haze Griff 500

Apache Yes I am relatively local, so you've got a good point there, and I've no experience of max. velocity in the Seiccento! I do know people who have had to go even further afield than Cambridge in the Team Pro' loan cars. Though if you dealt with Team Central previously, they're a lot better than the dirty and unfueled discourtesy cars they used to inflict on customers. Marcus & Ocean Haze Griff 500

When I took my Chimaera there a few years back the previous customer had wrapped up the Golf courtesy car so they leant me the only thing they had...a "V" (the first time round!) Mini 850. But Adrian definately knows his stuff.

Not quite what I had in mind when returning a £30k car for a service! Mind you, got me home, once I'd filled it with fuel. More than can be said for the crappy XR3i I got next time which broke down half way home.

Dealt with Team Central since '94, and I had similar experiences with the loan cars. Like a Citroen BX which was in dire need of an oil change - the upholstry that was! So full marks for them getting sorted with clean, reliable and (at least partly) fuelled loan cars. Marcus & Ocean Haze Griff 500
