Hi, I recently bought a plastic car cover in France when it dcided to rain for a week and have used it ever since. Am I likely to damage the paintwork or is this nonesense? Thanks for any info, Driller Ice Blue Griff500

Depends on the fabric as to if it's going to damage your paintwork. A bigger worry I'd say is if the cover allows your car to breathe, as if not, the cover will in effect make your car "sweat" with condinsation which isnt good for the chassis/interior. There are a lot of good outdoor/garage type car covers on the market, best found in the classic car mags. Regards, Dave.

Thanks Dave. In fact it's not fabric at all it's literally like a grey polythene sheet...keeps the water off though... Driller Ice Blue Griff500
