Air Con Pulley

After seeing the TVR's at Caslte Coombe today they don't run the Air con pulley's on the AJP's and lack of the crankshaft nose.
Will this effect the balancing on a normal Road AJP engine running without said pulley ETC.
And where do the Blanking plate's come from?.

As far as I'm aware the AJP engines for the Tuscan Racers are Dry Sump engines with the additional Oil Scavanger pump lobe on the bottom of the block. So I suspect they have a different Timing Chain Cover with 2 lower lobes to cover the anciliary pump gears L & R.

Some of the road car engines have no Air Con so you may be able to source a timin chain cover to suit with only the single lobe, however the Air Con pulley wheel is only aluminium so should not cause significant rotating mass & forces. You could probably attach a smaller disk to mimic the pulley without the rotating pulley's drag effect.
