Sussex and Surrey St. Georges Day run

St Georges day is on the 23rd April, so what better way to celerbrate than jumping in your pride and joy, and through the leafy lanes of Sussex.
We'll meet at Old Barn Nurseries (for now at least) at 10.45 for an 11.00 departure.
and at "The Fox Goes Free" at Charlton, just North of Chichester.

The landlord has asked us to get there early as he expects a busy day, so I hope to get us there at 12.15.
As always they would like to confirm numbers nearer the time, so don't be shy, get your name on the list.

Don't ask me how I know this please but IIRC the "TFGF"claim to fame is way back when it held the
worlds first Womens Institute meet

They still sing Jerusalem at closing time so I'm told.

Good choice Derek I've eaten there a couple of times and the foods a goodun and as you say it gets busy.

Hi Ian,
Yep we usually meet in part of the car park that's closest to the A24.
As for only owning your chim for 4 weeks, shouldn't be a problem, we tend to just plod around
admiring the scenery, you'll keep up, no problems

As this is St Georges Day, if anyone feels patriotic enough to bring any flags etc. please do so.
