This could be a very controversial thread for sure. There's an old man called Stirling Moss - he's not a TVR driver, but often drives quite rapid machinery. Should he?

"This could be a very controversial thread for sure. There's an old man called Stirling Moss - he's not a TVR driver, but often drives quite rapid machinery. Should he?" OH NO!! Having had a go at other "racial/sexual/international.." stereotypes, here is a golden opportunity to have a go at old people too. I will keep quiet - as long as we can slag off drivers of other types of car, I'm happy (but is it wrong to refer to them as "hairdressers cars"??) Nut Edited by tvr_nut on Tuesday 28th August 12:53

Dear nut, Humble apologies! You could say that Ted started this off with his 'Pensioners' rant, and I felt that his (apparent) mid-life crisis could be relieved by a little objective discussion...... Re 'Hairdressers Cars' I object. My wife has cut my hair since the day we were married, and there's nothing wrong with my hair or her car. Come to think of it, I am getting a bit thin on top, but it would surely be unchivalrous to question her skills ! McNab
