how many cars have been damaged by car covers ,can the damage be linked to covers ,why is this ,WHY ARE THEY STILL BEING USED ,SHOULD they say dont use on fiberglass

which includes a lot of comments. I have used a Weathershield for the last year and it has been very good, with the only down side being it can be prone to being blown off in strong wind. The cable keeps it from flying away, and the cable is covered to avoid it rubbing the bodywork, but still frustrating! The cover is not cheap (£300), but I have not found it has scratched the car or done any damage - this is with regular washing to avoid grit being pressed against the side of the car.

I have been using the Covercraft Weathershield on my Griff since the last linked post ..... and have found it OK - no problems so far with either water getting through or scratching. It is light and totally manageable ..... but it is only a few months.
