MetaSAT GPA800 and Carl Baker - Car & Bike Installations

Yesterday I had a MetaSAT GPA800 www.tvruk.tv/dyncat.cfm?catid=37 DAB unit and Pioneer Ipod adapter fitted to my Tamora by Carl Baker. To say Carl did an amazing job would be a gross understatement. But to be honest it was not just Carl's fitting experience that impressed me, it was his whole approach to customer service. This coupled with the fact that the MetaSAT GPA800 is clearly one of the leading "tracker" style addons you can make to a TVR, makes me really want to recommend the product and totally recommend Carl as the man for the job.
To cut to the chase on the customer service experience and show you why he goes the extra mile, here is my own experience:
I arrived at Carls beautiful home that he shares with his partner Debs, and some friendly pets. I was having a terrible day, when I arrived, having been forced to work for 24 hours on an issue and just grabbing one hours sleep and using pro-plus and coffee to help me! I explained I did not want to miss the appointment but I really need to sleep and carry on working when I could. I was accomodated with my own sofa to sleep on, wireless internet access and more importantly copious amounts of tea and biscuits. With a cracking lunch provided by Debs, I really wondered if I should work from Carl's more often! The fact that Carl showed me what he was upto at all stages and see the attention to detail he puts into his work just showed to me what a master craftman he is in his field.
So all in all I would seriously recommend the MetaSat GPA800 to everyone, and if you want one, Carl sure is your man. The DAB unit and IPOD unit for me are really good additions and just add icing to the cake!
