18" spider wheels for tuscan

Has anyone any experience of buckling / deformities of their 18" tuscan spider wheels? Let me have some brief details, please.

I knackered a 16" one on a pothole it deformed and collapsed right on the rim between the "spokes" but apart from that no problems, oh yes and I did hit it hard enough that I would have expected problems on any wheel. Talking of which I have had more problems with the Audi TT/RS4 style 18" "spiders" now they really are shite and crack and buckel regulary (like I've done 3 wheels in 2 years)
