Paradise Purple help

Hello TVR Entusiasts.
Im currently building a car for my brother who sits in a wheelchair.
He has a great wish to have his car in "TVR Paradise Purple" becouse he have had a model car that has been this colour and I would realy like to surprise him and have his car this coulor. The car Im building for him is a 2002 VW Transporter, that fits his needs but also we have done some customizing on it.

IM sorry this is not so much TVR related, but I dont know who to ask.

What is the colour code for this? I have seen Opel Corsa and Citroen Saxo's also in this coulor.

Give Webb’s Auto's of Bristol (in advertisers on front page I think) a ring mention your colour and they will give you a code and price.

As you are not trying to colour match you shouldn’t have a problem.

Mines normal PP but I'm pretty sure it is the same code as quoted above. Hmmm

Same again R3232 Purple Paradise with a metallic green under coat to give the correct peril effect.

How will this colour turn out if it is not green under?
does anybody have big (1024 pixels or bigger) of cars with this colour, or know where to find?

Here you are - it's not quite big enough, but the colour shows well.

Not the same...but not a million miles off if you know what I mean. I'm rebuilding a car that was origially paradise purple. Previously, some of the panels/areas looked slightly different to the others. So while the whole car looked 'paradise purple', there were clearly different shades. As I've been rubbing it down there are some areas that are not green undercoated (like the whole bonnet, which was just undercoated grey), and some that are (like most of the 'tub').

So if you don't do the green undercoat it won't be quite the same, but unless its next to a car that was 'properly' painted you probably wouldn't notice the difference. But, if you don't want the green undercoat, why not use Purple Pearl (RM118) as has already been suggested, as that's what mine is changing to.

Whitchimp500's already posted one in this thread...and it's just below a post with a paradise purple car so you can see the difference. Purple pearl is not really a pearl but a metalflake with 2 colours of flake - blue and red. There is no purple pigment in purple pearl, it's an optical illusion where the eye mixes the colors from the red and blue flakes...which means it doesn't photograph half as well as it looks in the flesh.

...and that looking at the door of the car in Whitechimp500's pic, it looks like a different shade to the rest of the car!

Does anybody have other info on this paint?
More fotos and what colour code would be on a normal mixing machine? (ppg, dupoint, lesonalt etc, that is what they are using around here in Sweeden).
