New here... seeking advice

Hi

I've just joined the forum for the simple reason that I have just purchased my first TVR.

It is a T350T and I am due to collect it in the next few days. I do however have some concerns and wonder if any fellow owners could reasure me that I have done the correct thing.

I absolutely love my current car, an Audi TT 3.2 Coupe but have always loved TVRs and when the opportunity arose to buy one I was more than keen. Now however (during thet difficult change over period)I am worried that I have done the wrong thing. My worries do not surround the usual subjects of reliability etc but the practicality of the T350T as an everyday vehicle. I make several long motorway trips and my Audi provided me with comfort, practicality (4WD) and ease of driving (DSG/auto box)and am concerned that my new car is a harder ride noisier etc.

I can't wait to spin round the ry lanes surrounding my house on a daily basis but wanted to know what the car was like on long journeys.

Any help and reassurance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Rippers .
I tend to go away every other weekend in the T350 up and down the motorway/a roads. I've always found the car to be very comfortable, never get a bad back like i used to in previous cars over distance. Yeah, it's probably not going to be quite as cushioned a ride or as quiet as the TT, but believe me, you'll forgive it for that!

I drive my T350t every day. Somewhere between 200 and 500 miles a week.

Can't help with the daily driver thing, but would think a T350T would be refined enough though.

Of course it will be! I'd take it back if it's not!

You'll love the TVR..the grin factor will make up for the rest..just don't forget that extra pedal.

You might end up buying a cheapo Golf for really cruddy days!

Feeling really postive with your comments and now can't wait to collect my car. Slept well for the first time last night after reading this forum and having my mind put at rest.

Drive my T350 in London every day and often on long distance trips as well, round trips of 400 + miles are common.
You'll notice the ride is a little stiffer than your previous car and the engine is certainly louder but the T350 is a very civilised place to spend a lot of time.
