New service centre opens up

If you're in the North-West of England and run a sports car -- there's a new independent service centre, Automedon Sports Cars, about to open up.

It's been formed by a consortium of ex-TVR factory technicians and craftsmen who know the marque and the cars inside and out. Company boss Mark Atherton said, though, that the team's expertise isn't limited to Blackpool specials: "We'll tackle anything from an MG upwards."

The unit opens for business on Monday 27 March, with the inaugural Open Day on 29 March -- the local TVR Car Club regions will be running convoys to the event.

So if you're in the area, why not drop in and have a chat? They're all passionate about sports cars -- and TVR of course.

Just wanted to say many thanks to all of you who have called or emailed to wish us luck with the Automedon project, and to all those people who have started to book their cars in to our new service facility. From the reaction we have had, it would appear that there has been a demand for a good independant TVR specialist in the area, and we look forward to providing a top class service for all our new customers. We are hoping to be open for 27th March if the building is ready, so anybody is welcome to pop in for a chat and the kettle is always on.
