tvr warranty: autoprotect.net

Hi All,

anyone familiar with how good the tvr approved warranty company
autoprotect.net is for paying out?

(i've read stories how warranties are not paid out on engine rebuilds
due to manufacturer 'error' in engine construction..)

Every single one of my claims have been knocked back by them, followed by lots of tooing and froing which usually ends in them coughing up.
Apart from that a wonderfull company.(tic smiley)

Maybe check the AA cover, ok it's only £500.00 but for £50.00 seems worth it.
The AP one is £2000.00 note this is inclusive of VAT so not £2000.00 in reality.

This is our experience of Autoprotect:

When we had our Tuscan, it needed a complete engine rebuild (costing 10 grand). They dragged their feet for weeks when giving an answer as to whether they would approve the money or not.
It took SEVERAL phone calls( and temper tantrums) from me to get that answer....................

and the answer was........................................

..........We'll pay 7 grand of it
