Engine Detailing

I'm looking to have some engine cleaning and detailing work done early Spring, in time for the better weather.

Obviously could do it myself, but would much prefer to just pay someone to do it properly!

Could anyone recommend a firm which does this, preferably in Sussex?

Try Paul as Miracle Detail...

I can just see it now...

1) Remove engine.

2) Strip all ancillies and electrics

3) Polish wiper motor

4) Polish coil

5) steam clean engine and dry with terry nappies

6) clean engine bay and dry with chamoise leather from the back of a 18 month old deer.

7) freshen engine bay with oil and petrol smell aromatics

Just cover it all with overbraid like I did, works a treat and no cleaning......well just a little.........

More a question of time mate - work's busy and the hours of sunshine are short.

The next step after detailing will be overbraid. Unfortunately overbraid alone doesn't deal with a dirty plenum, rocker covers etc etc...

Hi There!
Have just had some work done to mine which involved getting the Rocker Covers and Plenum powdercoated, as well as the usual silicone hoses, magnecour leads etc. Has improved it no end and much easier to keep clean now! Work was done by Tower View who are on: 020 8452 6922.
Highly recommended.

I am not sure what the individual prices would be, but for the Plenum and the rocker covers it is £165.00 + VAT. (Plus labour if you need them to fit them). Both bits are done on an 'exchange' basis, so you can order them and only need to take the car down for fitting once they are done.
