Where is the Speed Pulse wire?

I'm keen to get a Pioneer AVIC-X1R sat nav but I'm not keen on paying someone a small fortune to install it. The only bit that I'm uncertain of is how to connect the Speed Pulse sensor. I'm not certain that the wiring from the speed sensor is the same thing. It sounds like it may be.

OK i have recently sorted my Speedo problem my self so i know where and how, if you mail me a number i will tell you all i know

We are obviously talking about two different things.
It takes me 2 minutes to type a couple of lines.
I was going to talk Larry through how to take out the speed sensor which would take me half an hour to type........no secrets

Can't actually remember who eventually told me - may have been Austec.

No not had a rebuild but that is one subject guaranteed to liven up postings.
I'm one of those Tam drivers who reckon there's not actually a particularly high chance of having any major problems with s6 engines BTW

Mr Black Monday who posted this topic, God bless his soul, created my car. Can you ask him or can he tell me a couple of things:
1. The people that fitted your sound system, do they know if it's possibble to stop the flapping of the subwoofer with the roof off at over ***mph?
2. Was there any special requirements set for the suspension as it's very LOUD on the slightest bump and it worries me. If so to any suggestions to rectify this would be appreciated?
