Ordered a Tamora at last year''s Motor Show and was far more excited after seeing the changes at this year''s Sportscar Show. Already got it specced out so maybe I''ll get one of the first customer cars? Won''t be long now.........

If TVR improved its marketing abroad it would sell a lot more tamora's. Where are the LHD tamora's, I want one!

But still you get a High performance car (well, sex on wheels really )for a reasonable cost and it is BRITISH.. Don`t want it ? Buy something else. Do want it ? Grin from ear to ear each time the V8 Rumbles into life Simple, really..

I hate to split hairs but that would be a Speed 6 rumbles to life in this case.... and I concur. If you don't like 'em, quit telling us, because we DO !!! Edited by tjones5420 on Wednesday 15th August 20:41

If you don't like them don't buy 'em. I've given up defending my TVR's reliability because if you don't/haven't/won't own one then you are the one losing out. As for the Tamora - I'd have one tomorrow. Well today. Far more character and charisma and down right fun than any other makes on the road, IMHO. I went past a Ferrari broken down on the side of the M25 tonight. No TVR's although I saw 8. That was the only Ferrari I saw. So more unreliable motoring from Ferrari then ! Aren't we all supposed to aspire to a Ferrari, huh !

Excellent, so the concesus is - if you've a bone to pick with TVRs you should be looking at another website, and if you apprecaite TVRs you should be seriously considering a Tamora. See ya......

Surely constructive critisism is not a bad thing.
If it's constructive critisism, or tounge-in-cheek stuff it's fine, most people on here have a GSOH. It just gets a bit boring when certain people visit this site with no first hand experience of the cars and go on about the old wifes tales about them. For example, one of my cars is an MGB, and if I had a pound for everyone that's told me they are all gutluss rot boxes (oh no their not... well mine isnt anyway) Anyway, I've just bought a 1991 TVR S3, and today when having the MG tuned I told the guy doing the work I'd just bought such S3, he asked if it came with/on a trailer, yet he didnt even know what an S3 looked like, or what running gear it had!! Do you see why we get a bit miffed?

"Do you see why we get a bit miffed?" Yeah, the same people who slag them off normally come in their pants when they get a ride in them. What people fail to see is that you are getting something(like my cerbera)that will outperform most so-called "supercars" for a quarter of the price. It would be fantastic if they were really reliable but then they would cost a damn site more. I don't like Porsches much but I don't go on their chat groups and slag them off, it's childish and futile. If you want something reliable go on the Volvo chat group mate. I'm on my third TVR and they have been no more or less reliable than any other car I've owned. Just a lot more expensive to run. Edited by flasher on Sunday 19th August 10:44
