ECU fault code reader - bought one, how does it work???

Hi, as these are starting to get a bit scarce I have bought myself the ECU fault code reader for the Rover V8 engined TVRs.

I don't have any problems with mine at the mo but it's a handy piece of kit to have, anyone used one before?

The codes are in the bible with explanations. There is a diagnostic plug in the loom in the footwell...

Like Steve says - plug is in the passenger footwell usually on the same loom as the relays that sit on top of the battery.

If you're asking where the readout actually appears, the fault code magically appears as a red LED 2 digit number through the front cover of the unit.
