Advice please !

Looking to buy my first Cerb - unsure which to go for - I hear lots of 'only go for the 4.5' or 'only go for the 4.2' but then I read the motoring press who say the only one to go for is the Speed6 ! HELP !
Reading the forums, you all appear to have had many issues, I guess history and background to the car is more impotant than the model ?

Just make sure you have got enough money left over after your purchase to look after it and run it properly its never going to be a cheap car to run but will bring you endless amounts of pleasure.Probably better off posting on one of the TVR forums where lots of helpful and knowledgable people are lurking !!

Like scorcher says, this is probably better posted in the Cerb forum, where you should get many more (knowledgeable) replies.

The Cerb is an amazing car though, a real supercar killer and (particularly in AJP8 format) a car with some serious untapped potential (just speak to njw77 and Daggart).

Either 4.2 or 4.5 V8 is the way to go. The AJP8 is a key part of the character of a Cerb. It's also a more durable engine than the 6, but does need careful warming up before you unleash hell. Be careful who you choose to buy from, there's a great deal of variation amongst dealers.
