Following reply from Bridgestone UK to my enquiry re SO2/3 compatability:- QUOTE You can mix S02 and S03 patterns legally. However, because the S03 is designed to provide better grip than S02, we do not recommend mixing the two patterns on the same vehicle. Mixing the patterns can compromise the handling of the vehicle, due to the different performance characteristics of the S02 and S03. UNQUOTE Any offers for 2 part worn SO2 fronts?

Yep, got a track day in September, so I'll send them to tyre heaven in a fitting way! Where are you, how much tread have they got and how much do you want for them!

Vultures the lot of you ! mind you, I've got a spare rear tyre from my Chimp 500 whith loads of tread on it if anybody wants one. One of those common "I've got a 6 inch nail through my tyre" cases, which just happened to force its way into my tyre and wall. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the group of Kids hanging round the car "admiring" it !

My car is fully shod with Bridgestone RE71's. It seems posters here prefer SO2 /SO3. Presumably i should put on SO series tyres at the next change, but could I safely keep RE71's on the front with SO on the rear?

Go to the Bridgestone website and put your query direct - they reply within 24 hrs. Bear in mind they have a vested interest in telling you to change all four (forever the cynic!)

I am the only person who changed from Bridgstones to Pirelli PZero's ? Dealer took the P**s and said it would be in the body before the month was out. So far can't tell any difference except they last longer, especially on the inenr front, where mine went thru to the metal but were ok on the outside on every set of BS.
