Tipler Book

I put the new John Tipler book on my list for santa but his little helper (MrsU) tells me that it hasn't been published yet.

Anyone know when it's coming out?

When I spoke to Haynes a couple weeks ago they said it would be published on 20th December, however, their web site [url]www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=34301&langId=-1[/url] now states that it will be published in 2006.

Mine has been on order since November with Amazon, they said beginning of December it would be 4 to 6 weeks.

Folks - have just received a note from Blackwells online which has informed me that "unfortunately the publisher has informed us that this title is now out of print" ?? ISBN number (1844252353) is correctly identifying the new book (and not the first edition which I think is 1852237961) - but this has not stopped the order now being cancelled!

Has anyone else experienced this??

Amazon still showing it as Dec 20th 2005 pub date.

Went to my book shop yesterday and was told it will be today that it leaves the publishers, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Looks like more bad news folks.Just had an e-mail from Tesco telling us that it won't be ready now until February 2nd

Don't know whats going on,but we've now had another mail to say it's the 12th of January

Was again told on Saturday that it wouldn't be dispatched until 2nd of Feb.Today we got another mail saying it was dispatched yesterday!Hope thats finally correct!

Have it on good authority (thanks to the author!) that this should now be available. Fingers crossed it is now out with the wholesalers...
