These look like a really cool alternative to the upgrades to later chim lights. I like!

cerbie and chimp look great, the griff looks wrong though, can they be fitted inside the existing housing?

I agree with dans, these would look great under a clear perspex cover that is the same shape and has the same fittings as the existing GSI 2000 lights IMHO of course Dan

Newtown Motors in Cwmbran are actually doing front headlight conversions using the Zertec kit, so the dealers don't seem to mind. As for the rear lights, I presume you could do a reverse conversion?

MUCH better on the cerb but the griff should have the option of housing them without being flush in my opinion

Do look nice. Anyone bought a TVR second hand with this conversion done? Did it affect the price as questioned earlier?

Be careful turning the Afterburners on exiting a wet roundabout.

Anyone know if Zertec are still supplying these? I can't see them on the Zertec website.

I'm just in the process of installing mine myself. Have assembled the light pods, now waiting for good weather to go out and start chopping up the lighting loom...

OK, my afterburners are fitted and working (first time -- all leads correctly instaled to my amazement). It took me about an hour and a half to physically fit them since I'd done most of the assembly work and fitting of bullets etc indoors. Much of this time was taken with identifying which lead was which, since TVR managed a doozy this time. The wiring looms on both sides of the car are different. The black lead was negative earth on both sides but the rest were random with one exception.

Looks fab (though of course frustratingly you can't see what you've spent your money on while in the car!), photos will follow as soon as I've persuaded this Olympus digicam that yes, it really does want to upload the damned photos...

Just spoken to Clive at Zertec. He tells me that they are developing a new headlamp arrangement (presumably for at least the Cerbera) that will be a 3 light cluster including indicators (with a replacement pod for the existing indicators that is fitted with foglights).

Can't wait

I really can't understand why he doesn't develop something similar for the Griffith that fits inside the existing perspex fairing. R...

Griff light replacement keeping perspex cover - won't that look a bit like the new model Subaru Impreza lights? Three lights in the space normally occupied by one big one?

Yep that's the idea although I was thinking of just 2 lights and perhaps in a carbon-fibre pod as opposed to chromed plastic! R...

Would there be a problem with too much heat under the griff fairing? Think this is why they've got seperate main beam lights by the license plate.

No that's just an urban myth. Plently of people run 100w lamps under the fairing and they never melt.
