I took that little car all the way to Morocco and back - it was the only car that I dared take there !
It was nothing special but did loads of miles until the cam belt broke (twice) - the second time I just gave it away and bought something decent (Focus ST170) - now exchanged for a T350..

The T350 is brilliant.
The handing is a little harsh on some back roads but is superb and probably one of the best handling TVR's ever. Mine has a Sagaris front suspension setup ..
I took it to my local mechanic for a minor problem (exhaust leak) and he said it handles so much better than his Tuscan. He was very impressed with it and so am I.
The Volvo was a Swedish Dirtbarge in comparison but it did not matter if you had a bump or two - funny people don't play chicken or do road rage on you when you are in a car worth tuppence..
it's so true, that was the best thing about the 340, the; 'scare everyone else' factor! it was my mothers car before i had the pleasure.. she had it from new, liked the prowess , but in its lifetime it wrote of no less than five other cars and remained solid. i had the last one....
it was a pizza delivery boy in some old far eastern sardine tin, on approaching the roundabout, he was exiting and rather wide on the road - my drivers side front end collided with his side and took his wing two doors central pillar and rear quarter. he had to get out of the passenger side, i on the other hand suffered a broken indicator lens on the first skin of the wing peeled back like an old corned beef tin half way to the arch.. i drove on he called a truck! brilliant.
now people move out of my way because they can't get me out of there rear view, move over boxster, its kinda different, but i'm so much more relaxed on the road now... tvr's humbled me and i find much more pleasure in driving smoothly know what i mean?
