can someone tell me what the black mastic type stuff is called that TVR user to hold their cars together with. Also can you tell me where I can get hold of some. I have a few little bits of trim etc that have just dropped off and "black sticky stuff" seems to be all that was holding them on ! Cheers

I thinks its just black silicone sealant. I used black gutter and roof sealant from Screwfix and it works fine. B&Q also do it

Would the silicone sealant also work on the pvc (sorry, it's a poor mans tiv) headlining and other pvc bits coming undone around the steering column?

Be careful, some mfgrs. products have a habit of melting certain type plastics. I'm from US, have used 3-M trim & weatherstripping adhesive with very good results. Available in black and yellow coloring, liquid in tube or spray cans. Edited by motorman377 on Tuesday 7th August 02:44

I would have thought Bostik would have been better for that, I've never tried it on PVC. Im pretty sure it would be ok. Its quite cheap stuff so you could always try a small bit on a hidden area and see what happens. And if its no good repair all your gutters instead
