Heater blower dead in T350C

Has anybody else had this happen? just as the weather starts to turn cold. The lights are all on around the dial, but nothing comes out (story of my life realy....Private joke ).
So any advice would be very much appreciated.

This thread has run before, try searching for "heater blower" for the full story.
There seems to be 2 known problems with the heater system, one is the flap setting & the other is the ecu (one cheap to fix & the other not).
Both Chris Watton & myself have had exactly the same symptoms as you.
All the lights work but no blow....Unfortunately (unless you are lucky) this is not the cheap one to fix.
Chris had the ecu replaced on warrenty IIRC should have been £500-£600.
My first rectification was a few hours labour, system stripped down & put back together - NO FAULT found, so put down to a bad connection. Last week it has returned...
I'll let you know when I get it sorted, but expecting to replace the ecu.

Dave, Fly Boy's right, we too have had to go through this!
You NEED to sort it out quickly, especially this time of year, I found, almost to my cost, that the car simply is not drivable without the heater - it does not get warm through the engine heat at all, and the windscreen ices up/mists up VERY quickly, and without the heater, you have no way of seeing through the windscreen, I know, and it's damn scarey!
The heater and flaps do seem to be way too over complicated, a sizeable area of the inner dash is taken up with stuff for the flaps/heater. Judging by what others have gone through, I think it's fair to assume the problem lies with a slight ECU fault, as since mine was fixed at Blackpool, it's been fine. I also know from experience that 'faffing' with the wireing is very expensive for us, and the problem returns, which makes you wonder what they actually did that warrants a £200 labour charge!

So on my car the ECU for the fans/aircon is behind/under the glovebox. You need to remove the glovebox to get at it (it lift out, eventually). Maybe take it out, open it up and check for dry joints/obvious faults?

Yesterday when i was at Kerridges, i was shown where the relay junction box was located in the T350, its under the centre console.
But in order to reach it, first you have to get the car up in the air, as the roller blind boot cover assembly is bolted down from the underside of the car, this has to be removed before you can unscrew the centre console, why the fk do they design things like that, its a daft as having to remove the rear screen before replacing a head light bulb (only joking) but you know what i mean.
sounds like this little operation could take several hours to do,
and not one i want to do laying on the ground with a cold wind blowing up my ase, (i meant arms)

I lifted my centre console without removing the roller blind thingy. You have to be careful, but it will pop out with gentle persuasion (ooer).

The factory advised me to lubricate the leather with silicon spray prior to removing the console so it slides out more easily without snagging.

I think the factory meant spray the leather on the central console where it interfaces with the rolloer blind. You'd probably have to try to push the leather down with your fingers to get the bit under the roller blind mounting and then keep adding more spray as you slide the console out. I hope that makes sense.

In the end I got a dealer to do mine because the car had to go in for some other things as well. They just pulled it out with no lubrication at all (ooh-er), but I suppose they're quite used to doing this kind of thing and I don't think it was fitted very tightly.
